We are open Mon-Fri from 8.45 a.m. to 11.45 a.m and we accept children at 2yrs 10mths to 5 years.

ECCE Scheme

hopscotchThis scheme enables your child to have a free Pre-school year. If they are between the ages of 3 years 2 months and 4 years 7 months on the 1st  of September. They are entitled to 5 free mornings for 38 weeks. This is 15 hours a week, 3 hours each morning, Monday to Friday.

To qualify for January 2017 – June 2017, your child’s date of birth must be between the 1st of Jan 2012 – 31st Of Dec 2013.

To qualify for April 2017 – June 2017, your child’s date of birth must be between the 1st of Jan 2012 – 31st Of March 2014.

 

Community Childcare Subvention Scheme (CCS)

This scheme entitles you to a reduction in fees if you are:
A parent in receipt of Social Protection payment and are a medical card holder, you are entitled to BAND A Subvention rate.

  • A parent who currently holds a medical card/GP visit card, or if you are in receipt of a Social Welfare payment but do not have a medical card, you are entitled to BAND B Subvention rate.

You can also decide in this scheme the amount of mornings your child attends i.e. 2/3/5 mornings.

The Department of Children and Youth Affairs has announced a further expansion to the Community Childcare Subvention (CCS) Programme for community early childhood services. This current expansion means that parents can:
•Access a childcare place after the snapshot week from a community early childhood service, from January 2nd 2017.
•Increase a child’s level of service, for example, a child currently attending 2 days can increase to 5 days.
•Apply for change in CCS eligibility, if a parents entitlement circumstances has changed, for example child currently accessing Band B but due to new circumstances is now entitled to band A .Under the extension of CCS a new registration can be made so that a parents CCS entitlement is amended.
•Enrol ECCE children for weeks the ECCE programme does not apply (i.e. Easter and Summer holidays).
